Novak Djokovic is a Serbian professional tennis player who is currently ranked world No. 7 in men's singles tennis by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP).

Djokovic was born on May 22, 1987, in Belgrade, SR Serbia, to parents Srđan and Dijana. His father is Montenegrin in origin and his mother is Croatian by background.

Djokovic has won seventeen Grand Slam singles titles, five ATP Finals titles, thirty-eight ATP Tour Masters 1000 titles,

fourteen ATP Tour 500 titles, and has held the No. 1 spot in the ATP rankings for a total of 270 weeks.

Djokovic began playing tennis at the age of four. He started his professional career in 2003, and won his first Grand Slam singles titles at the 2010 Australian Open
